Isotonix Calcium

What Makes Isotonix™ Calcium Plus Unique?

Calcium is essential for building and maintaining strong bones. For optimal bone health, Isotonix™ Calcium Plus delivers three-quarters of the recommended daily value of calcium and vitamin C in an efficient solution that is readily absorbed by the body. In most cases, calcium tablets are difficult for the body to absorb. One cause may be that the calcium supplement is not blended with Vitamin D and magnesium; these are necessary to aid the body in the absorption and use of calcium.

Even if the calcium supplement tablet is correctly blended, it may be difficult for the body to utilize or break down the calcium. One explanation may be that many calcium brands use calcium from eggshell or oyster shell. These may not be well absorbed by the body. Another reason calcium may not be absorbed from a tablet is because of a binding agent known as DCP, which is a binding agent is used to hold the tablet together. DCP does not break down in the body. Additionally, manufacturers are not required to disclose the use of DCP. In addition to binders, some calcium supplements may have additives such as chlorine, shellac and other potentially hazardous chemicals. Even assuming no binders are used in the calcium tablet, the body must still break down a hard-pressed tablet into a usable form. If the tablet cannot be broken down sufficiently in the stomach, then the calcium will not be absorbed. If you cannot break down the calcium, you can end up with problems such as unabsorbed particles floating around inside the body. This may lead to kidney stones and painful joints, not to mention you are not getting enough calcium, so your bones are being robbed of calcium to support bodily functions.

Isotonix Calcium Plus provides the body with an advanced, cost-effective and generous 750 mg dose of calcium through an optimized blend of calcium, vitamin D3, magnesium, vitamin C and boron. Vitamin D3 acts to stimulate the production of calcium binding and transport proteins that help move calcium across cell membranes and store the mineral inside the cells.

Isotonic, which means "same pressure," bears the same chemical resemblance of the body's blood, plasma and tears. All fluids in the body have a certain concentration, referred to as osmotic pressure. The body's common osmotic pressure, which is isotonic, allows a consistent maintenance of body tissues. In order for a substance to be absorbed and used in the body's metabolism, it must be transported in isotonic fluids.

Isotonix dietary supplements are delivered in a solution similar in constitution to the body's own naturally produced isotonic fluids. This similarity of pH and osmotic pressure means that the body has less work to do in order to convert the solution into a state ready for maximum absorption — greatly decreasing the amount of time and work necessary to absorb a supplement. The isotonic state of the suspension allows nutrients to pass directly into the small intestine and be rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream.

Calcium 750 mg (Carbonate, Lactate, Phosphate, Sulfate, Citrate)
Calcium is found in the highest concentrations in milk. Other foods rich in calcium include the vegetables collard greens, Chinese cabbage, mustard greens, broccoli and bok choy, as well as tofu and sardines with bones included.

Calcium is an essential mineral with a wide range of biological roles. Calcium exists in bone primarily in the form of hydroxyapatite (Ca10 (PO4)6 (OH)2). Hydroxyapatite comprises approximately 40 percent of the weight of bone. The skeleton has an obvious structural requisite for calcium. The skeleton also acts as a storehouse for calcium. Apart from being a major constituent of bones and teeth, calcium is crucial for muscle contraction, nerve conduction, the beating of the heart, blood coagulation, glandular secretion, the production of energy and the maintenance of immune function.

Calcium is essential for healthy bones and teeth. A sufficient daily calcium intake is necessary for maintaining bone density. When the body does not obtain an adequate amount of calcium each day, it begins to draw it from the bones, causing them to thin. This may lead to osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is an age related thinning of the bones, which lead to a higher risk of broken hips, ribs, pelvis and other weakened bones. This is in addition to stooped posture associated with advanced age, which is caused by an accumulation of small fractures in the vertebrae.

The PTH (parathyroid hormone) regulates the amount of calcium in the blood. Some researchers believe that when the human body does not receive enough calcium, levels of PTH increase, whereby causing the body to experience hypertension. High levels of calcium in the body have been associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease in postmenopausal women and lower cholesterol levels. Low levels of calcium have been associated with reduced bone mass and osteoporosis. One preliminary study also suggests that calcium may help reduce the risk of obesity.
Magnesium 200 mg (Oxide, Carbonate)
Foods rich in magnesium include unpolished grains, nuts and green vegetables. Green leafy vegetables are potent sources of magnesium because of their chlorophyll content. Meats, starches and milk are less rich sources of magnesium. Refined and processed foods are generally quite low in magnesium. The average daily magnesium intake in the U.S. for males nine years and older is estimated to be about 323 milligrams; for females nine years and older, it is estimated to be around 228 milligrams. Some surveys report lower intakes, and some believe that the dietary intake for many may be inadequate.

Magnesium is a component of the mineralized part of bone and is necessary for the metabolism of potassium and calcium in adults. It helps maintain normal levels of potassium, phosphorus, calcium, adrenaline and insulin. It is also important for the mobilization of calcium, transporting it inside the cell for further utilization thus making it helpful in preventing osteoporosis. It plays a key role in the functioning of muscle and nervous tissue. Magnesium is necessary for the synthesis of all proteins, nucleic acids, nucleotides, cyclic adenosine monophosphate, lipids and carbohydrates. This mineral also inhibits the formation and growth of calcium oxalate stones in the kidney and bladder. Further, magnesium helps indirectly in reversing the effects of oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation as involved with the aging process.

Magnesium is required for energy release, regulation of the body temperature, proper nerve function, helping the body handle stress, and metabolism regulation. Magnesium works together with calcium to regulate the heart and blood pressure. Importantly, magnesium is also required by your body to build healthy bones and teeth, and is required for proper muscle development. It works together with calcium and vitamin D to help keep bones strong and prevent osteoporosis.

Manganese 1 mg (Sulfate)
Manganese is a mineral found in large quantities in both plant and animal matter. The most valuable dietary sources of manganese include whole grains, nuts, leafy vegetables and teas. Manganese is concentrated in the bran of grains, which is removed during processing. There are several forms of supplementary manganese, including manganese gluconate, manganese sulfate, manganese ascorbate and manganese amino acid, chelates.

Only trace amounts of this element can be found in human tissue. Manganese is predominantly stored in the bones, liver, kidney and pancreas. It aids in the formation of connective tissue, bones, blood-clotting factors and sex hormones, and plays a role in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, calcium absorption and blood sugar regulation. Manganese is also necessary for normal brain and nerve function.

Manganese is a component of the antioxidant-enzyme manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD). Antioxidants scavenge damaging particles in the body known as free radicals. These particles occur naturally in the body but can damage cell membranes, interact with genetic material, and possibly contribute to the aging process as well as the development of a number of health conditions. Antioxidants such as MnSOD can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause.
Vitamin B2 2 mg (Riboflavin-5-Phosphate)
Liver, dairy products, dark green vegetables and some types of seafood are primary sources of riboflavin. Vitamin B2 serves as a co-enzyme, working with other B-vitamins. It assists healthy red blood cell formation, supports the nervous system, respiration, antibody production and regulating human growth. It is also necessary for healthy skin, nails, hair growth and general good health including regulating thyroid activity. Vitamin B2 plays a crucial role in turning food into energy as a part of the electron transport chain, driving cellular energy on the micro-level. Riboflavin can be useful for pregnant or lactating women as well as athletes due to their higher caloric needs. Vitamin B2 helps the breakdown of fats while functioning as a cofactor or helper in activating B-6 and folic acid. Vitamin B2 is a water-soluble vitamin, one that cannot be stored by the body except in insignificant amounts. It must be replenished daily.

Under some conditions, vitamin B2 can act as an antioxidant. The riboflavin coenzymes are also important for the transformation of vitamin B6 and folic acid into their active forms, and for the conversion of tryptophan into niacin.

Vitamin C 58 mg (Ascorbic Acid)
The best food sources of vitamin C include all citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruit, lemons, tangerines) as well as other fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, brussels sprouts, peppers and cantaloupe. Vitamin C is a rather "fragile" vitamin and can be easily destroyed by cooking or exposure of food to oxygen.

Vitamin C promotes a vitamin "sparing" effect, allowing your body to better utilize multiple vitamins and minerals such as thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid, B12, retinaldehyde and alpha-tocopherol and in this case, the mineral calcium. It is also a cofactor or helper in the metabolism of folic acid, some amino acids and hormones. Being an effective antioxidant, it also works in helping generate more Vitamin E after oxygen radicals have attacked it, improving iron absorption from the small intestine. Vitamin C helps to regenerate active vitamin E in cell membranes. It is a co-factor in the synthesis of collagen and helps strengthen newly forming collagen.

Vitamin C has become the world's most popular vitamin. One reason is because of its vital role in fighting infections (strengthening the immune system). Other vital roles vitamin C plays in the body involve the strengthening of the blood vessels and gums. Although this may sound like a lot, the importance of vitamin C does not stop there. Studies have indicated that vitamin C may be of special benefit to people with high blood pressure, smokers, diabetics and elderly men. Vitamin C can also act as a leading protector against cataract formation. As a water-soluble antioxidant, vitamin C prevents vitamin E from becoming oxidized, thus preventing the premature aging and degenerative disease processes that inflict so many people. Another important role of vitamin C is its anti-stress capabilities. Vitamin C plays a major role in the ability to handle mental and physical stress.

The most convincing evidence suggesting the need for vitamin C supplementation is based on the fact that  humans are incapable of producing vitamin C in their bodies. When studies were conducted on animals to see how much vitamin C they produced in relation to their body weight, it was determined that they produced roughly the equivalent of a human consuming 3,000-7,000 milligrams per day.

Vitamin D3 400 IU (Cholecalciferol)
Regular sunlight exposure is the main way that most humans get their vitamin D. Food sources of vitamin D include vitamin D-fortified milk (100 IU per cup), cod liver oil, and fatty fish such as salmon and small amounts are found in egg yolks and liver.

Vitamin D aids in the treatment of psoriasis, diabetes, and cancer. Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and induces the production of several proteins involved in calcium absorption and storage. Vitamin D works with calcium to increase bone strength and harden the bones. It works to increase active transport of calcium out of the osteoblasts into the extra-cellular fluid and in the kidneys, promotes calcium and phosphate re-uptake by renal tubules. Vitamin D also promotes the absorption of dietary calcium and phosphate uptake by the intestinal epithelium. It helps skin cells grow normally, aids the pancreas in producing insulin. Additionally, it is important for diabetics due to the fact that Vitamin D is required by the pancreas to produce insulin.

Potassium 225 mg (Bicarbonate, Citrate)
Foods rich in potassium include fresh vegetables and fruits such as bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, avocado, raw spinach, raw spinach, cabbage and celery. Potassium is an essential macromineral that helps to keep fluid balance. It also plays a role in a wide variety of biochemical and physiological processes. Among other things, it is important in the transmission of nerve impulses, the contraction of cardiac, skeletal and smooth muscle, the production of energy, the synthesis of nucleic acids, the maintenance of intracellular tonicity and the maintenance of normal blood pressure. In 1928, it was first suggested that high potassium intake could exert an anti-hypertensive effect. Potassium stimulates muscle relaxation and insulin release. It also promotes glycogen and protein synthesis. Potassium is an electrolyte that promotes proper heartbeat. Potassium is important in releasing energy from protein, fat and carbohydrates during metabolism.

Potassium also regulates water balance and aids in recovery from exercise. Potassium aids rheumatic or arthritic conditions (causing acids to leave the joints and ease stiffness). Potassium is crucial for the elimination of wastes. Potassium is a natural pain desensitizer. Potassium helps control convulsions, headaches and migraines, promotes faster healing of cuts, bruises and other injuries and generally contributes to a sense of well-being. Potassium is stored in the muscles.

Tooth blood :   Aloe Juice

Allergy Nutrition Formular - Better way for Allergy treatment.

Allergy :

Nobody will like allergy.  It has so much noise bother you.  let you can't focus to do something.

Except the medicine there finial has some new nutritions can help us to aginst the allergy.

Nutrition solution:
  • No sideeffect
The formula which I use:
  • OPC-3    2~4 cups /day
  • ORAC    2 cups/day
  • Vitamin C : 1~2 cups/day
( For better result: All the products need to use Isotonix one)

( No more itch eyes.  Nose still has some response. Need to do a allergy test to know which one causes the allergy. And try to avoid it)

The next is some side effects I found on internet about the tranditional treatment.

Treating allergies can involve different medications, including steroids and allergy shots, but usually the first thing to try is an antihistamine.

How Antihistamines Treat Allergies

When your body comes into contact with whatever your allergic trigger is -- pollen, ragweed, pet dander, dust mites, for example -- it makes chemicals called histamines.  They cause the tissue in your nose to swell (making it stuffy), your nose and eyes to run, and your eyes to itch. Sometimes you may also get an itchy rash on your skin, called hives.
Antihistamines reduce or block histamines, so they stop allergy symptoms.
Antihistamines work well to relieve symptoms of different types of allergies, including seasonal (hay fever), indoor, and food allergies, but they can't relieve every symptom. To treat nasal congestion, your doctor may recommend taking a decongestant. Some drugs combine an antihistamine and decongestant.

What Types of Antihistamines Are Available?

Antihistamines come in different forms, including tablets, capsules, liquids, nasal sprays, and eyedrops. Some are only available by prescription. Others you can buy over the counter (OTC) at your local pharmacy.
Examples of prescription antihistamines include:
  • Astelin, Astepro (azelastine) nasal sprays
  • Atarax, Vistaril (hydroxyzine)
  • Clarinex (desloratadine)
  • Cyproheptadine (generic only)
  • Emadine (emadastine) eyedrops
  • Livostin (levocabastine)  eyedrops
  • Optivar (azelastine) eyedrops
  • Palgic (carbinoxamine)
  • Xyzal (levocetirizine)
Examples of OTC antihistamines:
  • Allegra (fexofenadine)
  • Benadryl (diphenhydramine)
  • Dimetane (brompheniramine)
  • Claritin, Alavert (loratadine)
  • Tavist (clemastine)
  • Chlor-Trimeton (chlorpheniramine)
  • Zyrtec (certirizine)
Eyedrops likes Emadine and Livostin treat symptoms of eye allergies, including itchy, watery eyes. Some medications, like Allegra-D, Claritin-D, and Zyrtec-D, combine an antihistamine and a decongestant to relieve congestion.

Side Effects of Antihistamines

Antihistamines can cause side effects, and some cause more side effects than others. Drugs such as Benadryl, Chlor-Trimeton, and Tavist and belong to an older group known as "first-generation" antihistamines. They tend to cause more side effects, particularly drowsiness.
Newer-generation antihistamines such as Allegra, Clarinex, and Zyrtec and have fewer side effects, so they may be a better choice for some people.
Some of the main side effects of antihistamines include:
  • Dry mouth
  • Drowsiness
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Restlessness or moodiness (in some children)
  • Trouble urinating or not being able to urinate
  • Blurred vision
  • Confusion
If you're taking an antihistamine that causes drowsiness, try to take it before bedtime. Don’t take it during the day before driving or operating heavy machinery.
Read the label before you take an allergy drug. Antihistamines may interact with other medications you are taking.

    Enzymes: An Unlikely Cleaning Hero

    Enzymes: An Unlikely Cleaning Hero

Many of today's consumers are not aware of an unsung superhero in the world of household cleaning and laundry products.

Enzymes offer the unparalleled ability to complete multiple chemical reactions, so they keep clearing when regular chemicals would stop. When utilized in a cleaning product, such as laundry detergent, enzymes easily wasj away odor, stains and soil when they accelerate the reaction to remove unwanted material.

Named for the materials they help remove, these laundry-oriented enzymes are known as Amylases, Proteases and Lipases.

    Learn About Isotonix®

    Learn About Isotonix®

    The World’s Most Advanced Nutraceuticals

It is recommended that nutrient supplements be administered in an isotonic form - Jim Wilmer, PhD
Isotonix Products Isotonic vs Stantard Tablet

Everything you eat and drink, including nutritional supplements, must be made isotonic before passing into your small intestine where it can be absorbed.
"Isotonic" means having the same fluid pressure as your other bodily fluids like blood and tears. When you eat food, drink a beverage, or take a pill or capsule, your stomach must first secrete diluting juices, enzymes, hydrochloric acid, and at least one vitamin-binding protein to continue the process of digestion. Muscular contractions of your stomach then mix the contents until a reasonably uniform solution is achieved. This process can take anywhere from 40 minutes to four hours.
In the time that it takes for most pills and capsules to disintegrate, and their contents to dissolve and transform to the proper isotonic state, much of their activity is lost. During digestion, the important micronutrients in pills and capsules can get trapped by fats, fibers, and tannins or inactivated by the highly acidic pH level of your stomach.
But Isotonix products are scientifically formulated with the perfect balance of fructose, d-glucose, citric acid, potassium bicarbonate and other ingredients to ensure that they are isotonic the moment they enter your body. When properly mixed with water and taken on an empty stomach, the isotonic solution flows into your small intestine almost immediately.
Isotonix products have been carefully formulated to clear your stomach at an optimal rate to maximize absorption. A pill does not fully deliver into your bloodstream the vitamins it holds within. Either the pill is dumped whole into your intestinal tract or the active ingredients pass through without being fully absorbed. Vitamins taken in Isotonix form do not have these shortcomings.
Isotonix delivers nutrient dense solutions which move from the stomach into your intestine in a fast, controlled way. And they're buffered to resist nutrient degradation and to be gentle on your system.

    Superior Quality & GMPs

Creating a superior supplement begins with quality ingredients. The raw materials used in Isotonix products undergo a comprehensive evaluation by our manfacturers to ensure that they meet stringent purity and potency requirements.
Verification and approval by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) is required for each raw material. Approved raw materials are subject to laboratory confirmation of physical characteristics and material potency, as well as analysis for microbiological contamination and heavy metals.
Each Isotonix product is then carefully prepared following a written master manufacturing record and every batch is reviewed and approved by our manufacturer's highly trained quality control personnel. Products are also inspected at our warehouse for damage, label accuracy, appearance, taste and identity prior to release.
Each of our production facilites are required to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. This means they are periodically inspected and approved by either the Food and Drug Administration or the United States Department of Agriculture for their strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, employee training, product specifications and supplier/vendor qualification procedures.
All manufacturing equipment that comes in contact with our products must be cleaned according to mandated procedures between production runs and verified to ensure sanitation has been performed prior to use. Product samples are also collected at various stages of production for chemical and microbiological analysis to ensure consistency and purity. Lot code confirmation, weight checks, label and material checks are performed according to exact written procedures.

Why is gastric (stomach) emptying time so important?

The longer a supplement stays in the stomach, the longer the time before absorption can begin, because no appreciable absorption occurs from the stomach. Often the rate-limiting step in the absorption process is the time it takes for the tablet or capsule to disintegrate, and the nutrients to dissolve and equilibrate to the proper (isotonic) state to leave the stomach. When all this has been completed — up to 40 minutes after ingestion — the diluted, acid-attacked nutrients can enter the small intestine for absorption.

Why is gastric emptying time stressed when talking about Isotonix®?

Nutrients that are already isotonic do not need to be broken down into an isotonic state. Therefore, gastric emptying occurs more rapidly. Biological sensors in the gastrointestinal tract detect that the ingested solution is isotonic and at a correct pH. This causes the pyloric valve at the lower end of the stomach to remain open, allowing the concentrated solution to be squirted into the small intestine by stomach contractions. Absorption of the nutrients by the intestinal mucosa then starts to occur.

    Isotonix® Delivery System

Isotonix products are formulated with the proper balance of fructose, d-glucose, citric acid, potassium bicarbonate and other key ingredients to assure that they are isotonic when properly prepared. This combination of ingredients is necessary to maintain the flavor, isotonic character, pH and delivery efficiency of these nutritional supplements. Normally, when you ingest a daily vitamin or nutritional supplement tablet, your body must work for up to four hours digesting and absorbing the vitamins and nutrients. During this lengthy breakdown process, a percentage of the nutritive value is lost. But because Isotonix products are powders, none of the fillers, binders, coatings and lubricants that are common to tablet manufacturing are necessary. There are no gelatin capsules or fillers. As a result, the amount of time and work necessary to absorb a supplement is greatly decreased.

    What are Probiotics?

Probiotics consists of "pro", supporting or favoring, and "biotic, pertaining to life or specific life conditions.  The opposite of "anti", opposing or neutralizing.

A "probiotic" or "probiotics", are micro-organisms, specific bacteria, fungi and yeasts that are a natural, necessary, component of the digestive tract.  They are beneficial to our body and an integral part of our immune system.  These microorganisms form a living colony (a biofilm), that live within us and line our digestive tract, in a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with us.

They work together, assisting with digestion, nutrient uptake and immune defense.  This biofilm is destroyed by "antibiotics" and toxins, that are present in our environment.  As a result, the beneficial symmetry of the digestive lining gets disrupted and disease processes begin in small increments, usually starting with symptoms like indigestion, gas, bloating and heartburn/acid reflux.  Sometimes these preliminary warning signs are ignored or other symptoms such as depression, loss of energy, brain fog and food or other allergies appear.  If an imbalance of the digestive flora persists, a galaxy of possible symptoms can manifest, and a progression of ailments can follow, as the immune system becomes compromised.

Why should I take a probiotic?  Benefits of / uses of probiotics:

The beneficial micro-organisms in our body, when in balance, assist and support us.  Diets high in sugar and refined foods and low in fresh vegetables and fruits, set the stage for an imbalance of flora.  This equilibrium is disturbed most when we ingest antibiotics from a doctor or through a food source such as eggs, chicken, pork, beef or cows milk, it kills many, if not all of the beneficial bacteria along with some pathogens.  The die off causes an imbalance that creates an opportunity for the yeast that makes up a natural part of our biofilm to multiply and grow with little or no resistance.

    What are enzymes?

Enzymes are catalysts, mostly protein molecules that carry a vital energy factor needed to enable every chemical action and reaction that occurs in our body.

They work differently than pure chemical catalysts.  They make chemical reactions more efficient, and thus faster, by reducing the activation energy needed to initiate chemical reactions throughout the body.

There are several thousand different enzymes found in the human body.  These enzymes can combine with coenzymes (non-protein molecules) to form nearly 100,000 various chemicals that enable us to see, hear, feel, move, digest food and think.

Every organ, every tissue, and all the cells in our body depend upon the reaction of enzymes and their energy factor.  Enzymes are responsible for digestion, absorption, transporting, metabolizing, and eliminating the waste of nutrients.

Again, every organ, every tissue, and the approximate 100 trillion cells in our body depends upon the reaction of enzymes and their energy factor.

    • Enzymes purify our blood.
    • Enzymes strengthen our immune system
    • Enzymes break down fats.
    • Enzymes lower our cholesterol and triglycerides levels
    • Enzymes enhance our mental capacity
    • Enzymes cleanse our colon
    • Enzymes help us sleep
    • Enzymes help us shed excess weight and fat
    • Enzymes improve aging skin
    • Enzymes maintain proper pH balance in our Gl-tract
    • Enzymes maintain proper pH balance in the urine

    Why choose Isotonix Digestive Enzymes?
